BEMAS vzw-asbl and its brand Asset Performance are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data and will only use and process your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Act and other relevant applicable legal regulations.

 

With this Privacy Policy, BEMAS vzw-asbl wants to inform the User of its website www.assetperformance.eu  about possible processing activities and the rights of the User. By using our website, the User implicitly agrees to possible processing activities.

 

It is possible that our privacy policy may be subject to adjustments and changes in the future. These will be made clear in our Privacy Policy. The last update of this Privacy Policy dates from June 19th, 2024.

 

By using the website www.assetperformance.eu, by registering for the Asset Performance conference and/or by subscribing to the Asset Performance Newsletter, you pass on information that allows you to identify yourself as a person. All the above mentioned data processors process and store your data in a protected manner. They can use third party data processors to do so. All organizations are active in advancing the knowledge and insights in maintenance, reliability and asset management for the benefit of society and therefore have a legitimate purpose to inform practitioners that are professionally active in these fields about their initiatives.

 

For the sending emails concerning the practical organisation of the conference and the participant registration, the data processor Pheedloop is based in Canada. By subscribing for the conference you agree to the conditions of Pheedloop and the privacy policy of Pheedloop. Here too, your personal data is processed and stored in a protected manner.

For creating invoices for attending the conference, the data processor Exact is based in the Netherlands. By registering for the Asset Performance conference you agree to the conditions of Exact and the privacy policy of Exact . Here too, your personal data is processed and stored in a protected manner.

For the sending of newsletters, the data processor Mailchimp is based in the United States. By subscribing to our newsletter you agree to the conditions of Mailchimp. Here too, your personal data is processed and stored in a protected manner.

For use analysis of our website, we enable Google Analytics. Information about the use of our website is collected for this purpose.

For marketing and advertising purposes, de data processors are Google LLC (based in Ireland) and LinkedIn (based in California, United States). By using the website, registering for the Asset Performance conference or subscribing to our Asset Performance Newsletter you consent the EU User Consent Policy and agree to the conditions of Google LLC, the privacy policy of Google LLC, the conditions of LindedIn and the privacy policy of LinkedIn. By subscribing to the Asset Performance newsletter and/or registering for the Asset Performance conference, you agree that BEMAS vzw-asbl, as a organiser of the Asset Performance conference, may use his/her name, job title and contact information such as email address:  (a) to be able to process the registration for the ASSET PERFORMANCE conference, to deliver the desired products and to be able to show you other services and initiatives that might interest you (commission and legitimate interest); (b) to invite the Attendee to participate in optional satisfaction surveys and feedback; (c) to send the Attendee any information required (execute assignment); (d) to occasionally send you a newsletter with offers or information that may interest you (permission of the person involved); (d) to inform sponsors and other (media)partners, when the Attendee consented to do so by giving his consent during registration or by having his badge scanned; (f) to inform sponsors of your presence at the conference and at their respective sessions; (g) to use for marketing purposes to define our target audience and send customised advertising messages. The Attendee can also be contacted for an Appointment, in which case their data is available to people who want to make an appointment with them.

 

Any other personal data will not be passed on to third parties unless you explicitly consented to do so. We only use services that process personal data if we have a processing agreement with them, if they are necessary for our services and information provision and if they can guarantee the secure storage of personal data with guarantee for your privacy.
