To receive 50 points, the participant must:

  • publish an original LinkedIn post relating to Asset Performance;
  • include #AssetPerformance;
  • show the published post to the designated Asset Performance team member at the Info Desk.

After verification, the participant receives access to the relevant gamification QR code. A maximum of two LinkedIn posts can be rewarded per participant.

6. Closing Keynote & Awards Ceremony

Participants who check in at the Closing Keynote & Awards Ceremony receive 850 bonus points.

Prize winners must be personally present at the Closing Keynote & Awards Ceremony when the winners are announced.

If a winner is not present to receive the prize, the organiser may award the prize to the next eligible participant in the final ranking.

7. Determination of the winners

The winners are determined by the final number of valid gamification points registered for each eligible participant.

The participant with the highest valid score ranks first, followed by the participant with the second-highest score, and so on.

If two or more participants have the same number of points for a prize-winning position, the ranking between those tied participants will be determined by a random draw conducted by the organiser.

The organiser verifies the final scores and eligibility before announcing the winners.

The organiser’s decision regarding the final ranking, validity of points and application of these rules is final. No appeal is possible.

8. Prizes

Prizes are provided by Asset Performance and/or participating sponsors.

The exact prizes and their allocation may be determined and announced by the organiser before or during the event.

The retail value of each individual prize will not exceed €250.

Prizes:

  • cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • cannot be transferred unless explicitly approved by the organiser;
  • may be replaced by a prize of comparable value if the announced prize becomes unavailable.

Each participant may receive a maximum of one prize. If a participant qualifies for more than one prize, they will receive the highest-ranking prize for which they qualify. Any subsequent prize will be awarded to the next eligible participant in the final ranking.

9. Fair play and misuse

The Challenge is intended to encourage genuine interaction, networking, exhibitor visits and engagement with the conference.

The organiser reserves the right to remove points or exclude a participant from the competition in the event of:

  • sharing QR codes;
  • scanning codes without completing the associated activity;
  • fraudulent, automated or manipulated activity;
  • fake or duplicate interactions;
  • abuse of PheedLoop or other event systems;
  • conduct contrary to the purpose or spirit of the Challenge.

Such decisions are made at the reasonable discretion of the organiser and are final.

10. Technical issues

The organiser cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of PheedLoop, internet access, QR scanning or other technical systems.

In the event of a technical error, outage or incorrect allocation of points, the organiser may correct the recorded score based on the available information.

No compensation can be claimed for points lost as a result of circumstances outside the organiser’s reasonable control.

11. Changes or cancellation

The organiser may modify the Challenge, point allocation, timing, prizes or these rules when reasonably necessary due to technical, operational, legal or other circumstances.

Material changes will be communicated through the event app or another appropriate event communication channel.
